有时候,人们通常会在容易批评到的角度看待事物。比如今天在新浪微博上看到有人转:
“【高考状元今何在?三十二年无尖才!】1977年至2008年32年间的高考状元,几乎没有一个成为做学问、经商、从政等方面的顶尖人才。应试教育学分教育必然衍生死记硬背怪胎,死记硬背怪胎必然导致状元创新实践能力先天不足。有独特个性和怀疑批判意识的学生易因低分被淘汰,高分者皆为遵守死板教条的学生。”
事实上,除了这个显而易见,最容易提出批评,也最不需要负任何责任的角度外,还有两个角度。在提出这两个角度前,我想说,古代科举制度的状元,都是成为从政方面顶尖人才了的。古代科举制度值得用另一篇文章来讲,不在这里展开。
这两个角度就是:1. 选拔人才没问题,但是社会认知顶尖人才的方式有问题;2. 选拔人才有问题,社会认知顶尖人才的方式也有问题。
事实上,在当前的中国社会,除了当大官、赚大钱外,从事一些有深远影响事件的人往往不被关注。这本是极其自然的事情,中国的历史书上连篇累续诉说着,所谓人才,高瞻远瞩,自然是孤独的。我们没有办法找到他们,是因为我们太过幼稚,不足以找到他们而已。
当然,我们是擅长于为死去的人塑像,为亡者编故事的。因此总是各种各样怀才不遇,郁郁而终的故事在被不断编撰。一个正常的时代,不是为名望塑活佛的世界,也不是让才子冻死街头的时代。
最近经常听到的一个论点来自于John Locke,他说,总是要留适量和足够的物质给社会公有。
